How to close that Navteq map?!
Take a look at this webpage.

careerbuilder jobsite navteq maps cannot close
It looks perfectly normal, and very functional until you put your mouse over that map. And all Hell break loose.

navteq maps blocking text, no way to close it
And then no matter what, that map won’t close.
I sent an email to ‘Contact Us’ at Navteq, it went like this:
“i’m at a job listing. i browse the description and accidentally hover my mouse over your maps. Your map enlarges itself on my page and covers some of the very important text i was reading. I look around for an ‘x’, clicked on all the buttons available on the maps and outside the maps itself, right-click, left-click, ctrl-click and nothing happens. Finally i give up and refreshes the page. i tiptoes my cursor around your map because i am not sure there is a way to close that thing. Or is there?”
I wonder what they’ll say.

Some advice when contacting Google Base support
There is no phone numbers that will work.
The best place to get a humane and fast response is at their Forum.
There are 2 regulars (possibly employees of Google) who will give speculated but more than likely accurate answers based on the jargon of their policies which the layman sometimes do not comprehend: Celebird and Tom Wilson
Well what else do you expect right? The larger a conglomerate, the harder it is to hold on to one person for responsibility.
How to call Google Base Customer Support and get a live rep
Well, no point getting any live rep. I spoke to a Google operater (a rather impatient one) and all she could tell me is that Google Base offers only online support and to go to their blog, of which she gave me the web address.
I will show you how to call Google Base customer service support on your phone.
Write down this number: (650) 253-0000
This is the general Google customer support number.
Go to Google Base Blog.
Find a name under any of the entries who looked like they can help you with your specific problem. I was looking for general support.
I called at 3:50 EST. They were still available.
I called again at 5:27 EST and got a voicemail.
Incidentally, I found that this number “650-253-0000″ corresponds to their office in California on their “Contact Us” website.
Why are they not picking up?

Arab Tower Dubai (Burj al-Arab) Private Jet Landing??
Dad sent me a permissible junk mail about a hotel in Saudi Arabia. Possibly the most expensive, the most luxurious and held the most number of stars. 7.
They also charge 2,000 USD per night minimum, and min. 2 nights, before taxes.
Looking at those pictures its practically out of the world.
The tennis court in the middle of the tower looked both dangerous for a match and equally outrageous as if it is an area for spaceship landing. And then I had a great idea, WHY NOT make a private jet landing! For the hotel. In the rooftop. How much is renting out a tennis court gonna make ya. A private jet landing would attract all the rich people, put you in the news and make the hotel famous around the world. So when a private jet wants to land, it will think of your hotel. And soon, when one other hotel starts doing it, the idea will catch on. Everyone wants to compete. But yours will be special. Being the first no longer counts. Getting there first will not make you a winner for long. You gotta give the customers something to remember. Make them come back more. Make them come to Saudi Arabia more. If NYC builds a private jet landing, you bet it will see more customers.
Meanwhile, enjoy the pictures.
Alternatives to Paypal? Yes there is!! Electronic Transfer Inc
I have always hated monopolies. Ebay and Paypal, these 2 in cahoots have such a large market share their customer service is always so negligent and utterly inefficient. So do you know any alternatives? Not for ebay. But for Paypay yes.
Electronic Transfer offers merchant accounts and credit card processing for online merchants. It is listed in BBB (Better Busincess Bureau) and is Visa,MC, Amex and Discover CISP Certified. Plus you have all the 800 numbers to choose from for 24/7 support.
Like Paypal, Electronic Transfer offers a free merchant account to start with. A merchant account also comes with a Free shopping cart, online sales tracking and reporting, automatic receipts, and much more.
How Rich is Jesus? And How Rich are Believers?
Jesus, the son of God, came from Heaven, laid with paths of Gold, the Creator of the Earth and Everything. “yet though he was rich, he became poor for our sakes, so that I through his poverty might become rich, by the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.” From 2 Corinthians 8.
I want to thank Soldier Servant for sharing how poor Jesus is. It is through His poverty that we inherit His wealth. Since Jesus came from Heaven, we inherit the wealth from the Kingdom of Heaven. It was a pivot exchange – us with our cursed land in exchange for the wealth in the Kingdom of Heaven through the cross.
At first when I read 2 Corinthians 8, I thought I should find out how rich Jesus is. So I wrote down the question and searched the Internet but instead found how poor Jesus is. So I gave up and asked God. “God, I am still not convinced that I am rich even though Jesus became poor for me. Because I do not know how rich Jesus is.” I returned to the paused sermon on “Your tithe testifies He’s Alive!” by Pastor Joseph Prince and continue listening.
Quoting Pastor Prince, “if you’re not convinced, continue reading how poor He (Jesus) became, and you’ll be convinced how rich He has made you.” Right there and then, it was like a light shone through my head, and I felt an inner peace settling in me. There, I found the answer.
Something in me moved. It was the same movement when I first have revelation of how much Jesus and the Father loves me. So I scrolled through the mental images of how poor Jesus became, with the help of Soldier Servant’s blog entry on “Jesus Christ WAS NOT RICH!” and saw how much Jesus has done for me. How He suffered for me. It is true His life wasn’t always a bed of roses on Earth. He didn’t wear the finest clothes. He didn’t have enough to eat sometimes. And that’s when 2 Corinthians 8 comes in.
Think about it. He is the Son of God and He, by birth, has inheritance to what the Father has, which is the riches of the Kingdom. When He came to Earth, He was brought down to our “level” – poor, cursed by the ground, in flesh. While He was on Earth, He did many good deeds – healing, miracles, teaching the way of God. He wanted to impart to us what He has in Heaven. An example was when He left his peace with His disciples; He named that peace as “not as the world gives”. At the Cross, He completed what He came to give by conquering the curse of this Earth –death, illness, and poverty. At His resurrection, He came back proclaiming that all those who believe in Him and His works at the Cross, shall receive.
What shall believers receive? All that heaven has. A whole list of things and surely, Wealth is one of them.
