Palm Reading
When I was still in school, someone, who was constantly in my company, took me to a palm reader. I learnt the line on my hand that meant intelligence. But today I am smarter than all the men in the East because all the wisdom I need everyday is written in Proverbs and most importantly, Jesus is my wisdom. (Corinthians 1:30)
Fengshui
Today Pastor Mark Ng mentioned fengshui, about how scared he was for touching his table for fear of moving an millimeter out of its “lucky position”. Pastor Åge Åleskjær preached about Balaam and Balak, who tried to curse Israel. (http://www.bibleexplained.com/moses/Numb/nu23.html) They couldn’t curse successfully and tried to go change location, thinking that the “fengshui” of a different place might help. But we all know the story — God’s people are still blessed.
WHY!
BECAUSE THE LORD IS WITH THEM!! YAY!!

Thank you Pastor Åge Åleskjær for being such a blessing to our church.
Thank you Pastor, for edifying our church and relaxing us with your humble jokes. I hope you come back again!
Tarot Reading
My mum told me she went to read tarot cards on my future. I kinda did not want to listen. ~Lalalalalalalalala
Astrology
I used to read a lot about astrology. Now I also do. And recently I realise, something I read actually induced negative perception of a dear friend. I immediately reject it in Jesus name. Because we are to see our brothers and sisters in Christ amen!

Blessed be the person who put me up to it. Cos its so awesome.
My spirit and soul and my body is in it, and all ready for it.
Can’t even begin to describe what that means to me.
Being in a group. Belonging. Team player. Team spirit. I promise I’ll submit. Against all my natural self.
Singing. Making music. Melody. Serving. Worshipping.
Getting to do all the above in a team. Gosh. It’s like being in a sports team.
Really looking forward to spending the new year in Singapore with service in NCC (and not having to feel sad about leaving) and, get to witness “A _____ Year” along with the rest of my CG mates.
Still reveling in the fact that I’m back.
I remember a time, I would sing myself hoarse cos I want to hear myself worship. God where is my voice? I am supposed to be worshiping you but I can’t hear myself. God where is my voiceeee Then I just had a moment. I began to listen to everybody’s voices. Hear, they are singing the same words as me. Hear, they are praising your God too. Hear, can you hear your voice through everyone’s praise and worship? Yes Lord I do. There, you found your voice.

Recently, I felt guilty, and I apologized to a friend. The God reminded me of the story of King David, who sinned. He killed Bathsheba’s husband because he wanted the girl, he made up lies, he committed adultery with Bathsheba. And yet when Nathan confronted him, he said, “I have sinned against the Lord.” Only after he confessed his sin, the Lord rained punishment on Him. Therefore, today, only after you realise you are a sinner, only are you able to accept the sacrificial lamb son of the Living God Jesus Christ. But that’s not my point.
So I realise David did not apologize to Nathan (the rebuker), to the people he harmed (Bathsheba and her late husband), to the warriors and messengers he made use to carry out this sin with deceit, to his firstborn with Bathsheba (striked down to atone for David’s sin). His apology was to the Lord. And to the Lord only. And even his confession of sin was sin towards the Lord, not towards the people. He said, “I have sinned against the Lord.” (2 Samuel 12:13)
So sometime I tend to apologize or feel condemned so easily, not realising the world doesn’t really want to have the power to forgive you. We are embarrassed when someone apologise to us. Sometimes I think I would rather not have you do me wrong than a thousand apologies. God has the power to forgive you. In fact, when you know you are forgiven by God, apologizing to people wouldn’t come with all that emotional baggage and accepted with much more grace. Real apology comes from knowing you are forgiven first.

I can just imagine the ad go: “I’ve always had a busy life, sometimes i work the whole night and have a morning presentation. By noon, I usually am ready to collapse. Now I can collapse in a sleeping booth. Sorta like a phone booth, or a washroom cubicle, but so much better.”
Seriously, the above? Is all me.
When you see Blangadesk construction workers sleeping on the grass, do you need to think twice about sleeping booths?
When you hear colleague complaining about being tired, do you need to think twice abotu sleeping booths?
Napping in toilet cubicles can be bad for you, as shown in Duff’s case, who got arrested while napping inside a portable toilet. No one is clear why is he arrested.
Do I hear hotels? Hotel 81?
NO! I mean like a portable sleeping booth, like a vending machine filled with snacks, except Sleeping Booth is filled with silence, tranquility and quality rest, a place to interpret dreams if you may. It is completely sound-proof, and has lots of stuff to help u destress. And is limited to 30minutes of use at a cheap price.

My question was, “I am an enthusiastic and passionate entrepreneur. (Always chiong chiong type) How do I make plans, be organized and make sure I am walking in God’s way?”
Her answers from the Word of God:
Keep hearing lo.
Ask God to send godly counsels.
Worship before you plan and do.
She ended off with saying, sometimes pastor’s preaching can be a form of hearing God’s word for me too. I’m surprised she did not bring out the part about anointing oil, because I’ve got problems with that. I’m glad God came down to my level!
I’m actually very nervous and do not know how to ask God for it. But when I think about it, it is because I do not believe God will be that generous. Or that willing. Then I have to go back to Jesus. Why did Jesus come? Why did Jesus die?

i wish we have a “.com” button on the mac keyboard. Funny how Apple thought of it for the iPhone but not the keyboard. There are 2 Command keys on the keyboard, one on the left, one on the right, why not take one out and replace it with “.com”!

How many know that living by the Spirit is wonderfully encased in a force of joy and protection? Your mother could be screaming at you at none of your fault, an enemy could be hurling insults at you, you could be heartbroken at a fallen relationship, but you would be smiling from the inside out, not because you are forced to, but because you know you have done God’s will for you, you are used by God, you have been shown kindness by God by having given the vision and wisdom to God’s plan for this world and how you are part of it. Ah! So exciting!
Dinner doesn’t taste better or worse. You do not feel happier or more sad. Smiles from others doesn’t seem like a reward after the argument. The rainbow does not look shinier after the rain. What you have is Peace. Inner strength and stability. That’s because your joy comes from THE LORD! And no one can take that away from YOU!
