Shortly after I got saved, I took Bardie’s hard disk and copied all her Hillsong’s over. Then I paused. Scroll down. More albums under “Christian” folder. Enlarge window. Wow. Filled with Christian albums. So I decided to copy a few more over sneakily.
She turned around and asked, “Why don’t you get it all?”
Stunned, I thought, yeah why not.
Almost a year later, more than half of the songs remain unplayed, many many reporting a total play-count of dash. Their artists sit like a stranger’s name in my itunes.
Occasionally I discover gems like this:

And I would be so happy that I would play it over and over again. It calms me, it shook my night, it made me cry, it make me stop, it made me listen, it flowers inner joy, it fired me off… it does anything but produces no emotion in me.

This is crazy. I uploaded it on zSHARE. Within a few minutes, I see 8 downloads. Another refresh, the number doubled. Subsequent refreshes, the number jumps from 22 to 32 and now… as I refresh every few seconds, the count jumps by 1…

The clubs in NYC are playing ‘Lovestoned’ a lot, so I went to check his (Justin Timberlake) videos, and then remembered he used to come from N’SYNC. I remembered my favorite video of N’SYNC was ‘This I Promise You’. I remembered watching it. I remembered liking it.

I remembered all the guys in N’SYNC looked super ugly for a boy band and off-putting except for maybe the lead boy and Justin. I remembered when each their individual faces were featured in the video I felt my puke rising. I remembered getting confused-who is the lead boy, is it Justin or the dark-haired guy. Because Justin was featured a lot in the video along with the dark-haired boy and he sang half the song. I remembered I wish the dark haired boy would stop screeching when it comes to his part of the song. I rather he gave it to Justin.
I remembered liking the forest scenes. The city scenes. The bubbles. The models with their neutral-racial looks.

K.D.Lang is coming to UB to sing! This is my chance to see her liveeeee!!!! OMGGGG And it’s on the week of my birthday!!! A.k.a Spring Break. A.k.a. I cannot go anywhere, out of Buffalo. DANG!
Nevermind, I don’t have school on friday so I can leave early if I want to go anywhere.
I don’t really know her songs well, but you know you know la the reason I’m going to see her larhhh…. haha
Oh wow the tickets are not cheap. If I get the $35 one, I might need a pair of binoculars.

Recently I am all about conviction on my journey closer to God. Like if I say something or hear something about what God does or any translation of His Word or promises, I want to make sure I accept it with total conviction. And if I don’t I totally throw it out my world.
I hate to be that person who wavers somewhere in between the shadows and light.
Conviction has translated into convicted actions too. I do it, totally convinced that God has my back. That He is my righteousness. That He loves me. That there in no one waiting to condemn me. That there may now be no condemnation because God forbid. My father forbids. Everytime I’m in fear, I have to remind myself that, and do it on the knowledge that there may not be any kind of condemnation awaiting me, not on the feeling of fear I experience.

I watched “I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry” last night. It was pretty entertaining. 2 straight men put on the ring, ended up fighting for gay rights, one accepting his son’s not-so-masculine traits and the other had his sexual energies under control and finally met the woman of his life.
At the end of the movie, I usually don’t let the credits roll, but I notice the ending song, the last song of the movie “I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry” and I just can’t seem to find anywhere! So after a whole day’s of tossing around from one free software to another on my Mac, I took the movie apart and got the song out on mp3!

Stereo… Awesome… September 22, 2007

Tried out my stereo yesterday. For the first time, immediately after I set all the stations, sat down and just really enjoyed music, and just be lured in by the sound. For once, I stop thinking and let my sense of listening take over.
It’s really good for chillout, for when your brain is so running full of stuff, to just STOP and take in music. Music stimulates other parts of your brain, maybe thats why your forebrain stop hurting so much.
