  1. Hi,

Nice blog. I enjoy Ps Prince’s messages alot too. =)

  2. Posted by KWT on April 16, 2008 at 8:33 pm

Thanks for sharing! You may want to respect Ps. Prince for not putting all the videos online because of copyright issue. Destined To Reign is a non-profit organisation in US and this is a paid program. Your intention is good but is hurting Destined To Reign because they pay Daystar for the airtime and you put them in your blog without their permission! May the good Lord speak to your heart what He wants you to do with the video. Let them watch in Daystar or ABC Family. Therefore, let Joseph Prince Media have the only right to publish the video online.

Nice blog! By the way, I am not from NCC but someone who respect Pastor Prince very much! I used to put them in my Youtube to attract visitors to my site and my intention was wrong so I took them all down.

    Thank you for the postings!
I do understand what KWT is saying about copyrights issue, and all the legal matter, but I just want to say a little of my situation that theres a possibility that thers many like me. I been a christian for 11 years, but only in the past 9 month thru the revelation that God himself flows thru the man on J. Prince that mi life has been radically change from A to Z, you see theres no church or congregation nearby in my city where I can obtain this type of message, full of Grace and I’m hungry to Hear more! I search the web for more of this everlasting bread and fresh water, my point is that the broadcast on TV is to reach the lost to take this Wonderful message of Grace to all the nations ! but what about us, who only have our bibles, and Iknow the holly spirit will give us revelation, but me personally I love to receive teh techings of pastor Prince but I can not afford to pay for all the teachings, I beleave this is a good way to receive the teachings, God will bleassed this ministry abundantly anyway Bless the lord. This is my humble opinion.

Would Jesus himself violate copyrights by using those Holy Spirit inspired words to touch the very core of my heart?

I have spent too many hours soaking in the wonder of His goodness and Grace from the words of His mouthpiece Pastor Prince on this site and others. I do not have access to Daystar.

IFor many long years have I listened to the gospel preached by spirit filled Pastors but never have I heard Grace come alive like this. It is quenching the parched earth in me and sprinkling my spirit.

Would Isaiah copyright his words or Matthew, Mark , Paul and the others? It is the Spirit of life in those words that is going out on these websites all over the world. It is the glorious light of the Gospel with such beauty and tenderness and power! Power to truly change an individual that Christ Jesus would be formed in us.
Thank you! thank you! thank you! for putting these here. I have great respect for the man of God but these words cannot be witheld. They are God’s….

It is not the copyrights that bless and prosper Destined to Reign.
It is the Spirit who breathes the words. You must not muzzle the Gospel. I do not have access to to Daystar.

With all the trivial and vile things on the internet to see and listen too bombarding everyone, hearing Joseph Prince and the un-compromised words of Grace He speaks are like finding a door to heaven on my computer

Thank you again from the depths of my heart.

I have been watching Pastor Prince for about one month. I have been saved for 15 years and have struggled with smoking pot 24 hours a day, 12 to 18 beers a day and smoking 15 to 20 cigarettes a day as well. After only 2 weeks of discovering the gospel of Grace I quit all the above cold turkey and I have had ZERO desire to return to any of them. Even more importantly, my mother received the Lord with total ease! All I did was explain a few of Pastor Prince revelations and POW! She received the Lord, PRAISE GOD! I watch Pastor Prince every day in Hawaii, 9 a.m. on Daystar and 11 p.m. on abcfam and I have to tell you it is not enough because they repeat and repeat and repeat. I search the net everywhere to further my accelerated growth to no avail. I agree with the above people that these teachings should ALL be ready available. I am the biggest synnic and the only thing that bothers me is that you have to purchase this material. GODS MESSAGE SHOULD NEVER BY HELD BACK BY SOME DAMN COPYRIGHT! If Pastor Prince wants his congregation to go from 15,0000 to 150,000,000 HE MUST STOP LISTENING TO WHATEVER ADVISORS WHO ARE HOLDING HIM BACK!!!!!!! And release all the material he has to the net. Jesus healed and helped the poor, THE POOR CANNOT AFFORD ANY OF THIS MATERIAL. You might say that “every other anointed pastor is doing it” but Pastor Prince IS ONE OF A KIND! He is our modern day Paul and Paul NEVER charged for his sermons. I myself am a healer who only works for donation for the Glory of God! I am struggling financially terribly and 90% of my customers are free. It is hard but I know God wants me to do it. Anyone who reads this, please join me in prayer for Pastor Prince material for everyone to read, It will not hurt it will only bless. God bless Pastor Prince and God bless His children. Thanx

I just have one skepticism – although Joseph Prince has been preaching a lot on the grace and blessing of God, why can’t he make his sermons available for free download or at least for streaming online video/audio so that those who can’t afford it, can also be blessed? Free sermon downloads/streaming videos are now available in many of the churches/preachers’ websites.

As the Bible says, freely receive, freely give. After all, if God has been showing abundance grace to his people, especially to him, I feel he should be extending the same grace to all.

My suggestion is this – to avoid any future unofficial postings of his videos, why not just allow online streaming videos on the official websites – josephprince.org, destined2reign.com, newcreation.org.sg, etc…. and if people like the message and they can afford it, they will buy or purchase a download mp3.

I am from Malaysia, I don’t have access to Daystar, etc… I can’t attend New Creation Church every week although I wish to…

I have purchased Destined to Reign book, some dvds and audio cd set because I like the messages…but what about those who can’t afford it and hungry to listen to these liberating messages? I am going to send an email to josephprince ministry on this.

  9. THE WORD COMMANDS US TO GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THIS GOSPEL TO EVERY PERSON…. That means YOU must go! OR send someone in YOUR place. This person is obeying that command by posting these messages of Joseph Prince – one of few preachers who know and teach the FULL GOSPEL TRUTH! I thank you for posting these messages and hope you will continue to do so. You have obeyed our Father’s deepest desire – go tell His children how much He loves them and that He gave His life for our everlasting life!

  10. In response to CKS… Anyone can download FREE Joseph Prince audio and videos. Just email me ( keith@bandkpc.com ) and I will send you the links! I tried to post them here but it will not allow me.

Visit imeem dot com and YouTube and search “Joseph Prince” and you will find a HUGE amount!

Also, Joseph Prince Media has posted many videos on YouTube. So Ps. Prince IS GIVING AWAY some of his videos!

I strongly suggest that you check him out IF you want More Of Jesus in your life!!

Dude! if you know about this guy you know whats up! Every believer needs to understand ( 2 Corinthians 3:16-18 ) In this passage please discern who has the Veil over their faces and whose image the Mirror is reflecting… If you get it – it will stun you to glory!!! Hallelujah…

Christ in Us the Hope of GLory! By Grace, Gods desire for us Church is to become on earth, who we already are to Him in heaven!

If there are any believers in the Washington DC area who desire this type of word and want to fellowship, please e-mail me. Frank@washDCR.com

  13. Hi ,

I have been hearing about the message on different tighting in many different Angle, and I still have cloudy perception. I heard preacher prech tighting in the angle of Grace and law. But after I hear this message it gives me crystal clear understanding why we tight. it is becuase God wants to bring us into his abunbance and it is a humility on our part telling God okay this a token of my whole take it .

    Thanks

To: kakindu joseph,,,, How can we, the body of Christ help you bro? Send me an email: Frank@washDCR.com

And Bro, I understand you wanting to emulate the teaching of Pastor Prince. Also understanding as well, that this desire you have is not because you want to follow a man and/or mans teaching, but it is because you have hear and bear witness to the Spirit of God…

When we preach and lift up the message of Christ in Spirit and in Truth, we draw unto God people who are seeking the Father in Spirit and Truth… Bang!!! THis is the key to the True ministry of the Cross, and how the Word of Truth mixed with the Spirit of Truth, can and will Transform lives!!! Amen? – Amen!

Evey believer on earth needs to understand IN THEIR SPIRIT,,,
2 Corinthians 3: Especially verses 17 -18. (Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open faces unveiled, beholding as in a “mirror” the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. )

Now answer this most important question: “Who has the vial over their faces and who is the mirror reflecting”? Is it reflecting you and all your sin? Or is it reflecting God and His Glory and Holiness??? Meditate and understand this Church. Hallelujah! That revelation will transform a life… It did mine… Colossians 1:27

    Praise be to our Father…

I am personally positive to this kind of broadcast, even if I understand that the ministeries need their money to broadcast on the tv. One way to look at is that if there is so many peoples that are listening/watching on the internet without paying, that they start to lack of finances, maybe then there is so many peoples that are listening/watching on the internet that there is no use of buying time on tv, or maybe they should just send every second week and refere to a homepage if the peoples that are watching on the tv if they want to hear old messages or the next week when they aren’t going to get any on the tv. The beauty of the internet is that there can be so many more that can see it then. Me for example are from Sweden, and I am pretty sure his sermons won’t hit the swedish television

Been listening to the Gospel of Grace as taught by joseph prince for about two years now, and i honelstly didnt think there were this many people scattered around the world that believed they were the rightousnes of God because of christ’s action and not there own. it is truly a blessing to see people discuss copyright about joseph prince sermons. I download mine from christiandl.com just register and there you will find about 40 joseph prince sermons mostly on rapidshare.com
yap copyright belongs to God i mean i am always blessed by these sermons downlaoded or not.

WOW, do Christians have to complain about everything…you know what Alfred…you didn’t do anything wrong except bless other Christians for sharing the video. I”m glad you posted that video and i’m sure there are many more that are blessed by it also….we sure need to hear about God’s grace more.
Some Christians and some churches are quicker to condemn than to teach God’s grace. You see that spirit of pride “I’m so righteous, look at me, sure glad i’m not like those other christians”, and it’s an ugly attitude to have, but it’s been around for a long time and Jesus rebukes it…..
Have a blessed day and again thank you

I’d say – for those who cannot afford his sermons or books and have a way to get hold of those materials to feed your spiritual growth – go ahead and get your hands on the materials whichever way you can find. For those who can afford to, lets support the ministry whichever way we can – financially and spiritually. This way, we Christians cross support each other and financially, Pastor Prince’s ministry has the muscle to grow and grow.

By the way — for those of you who cannot afford it — start applying to God for abundance in your life and for opportunities. The Good News for the poor and weary includes financial independence ! God will bless you according to his riches in Glory and our GOD is SUPER DUPER RICH ! He is the creator of Heaven and Earth and he has promised us this “seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things (that heathens seek) will be ADDED UNTO U”.

    Bless you all.

  24. Hi,

I’ve previously posted on other sections of this blog, but did not notice such controversy until now.

Posting the messages here is indeed an act of goodwill and helps in the spreading of the Gospel.

I for one has been greatly blessed.

However, the copyright issue does pose a concern.

I have also made a list of Pastor Prince’s messages on my site:
    abundant-grace.weebly.com/messages.html

However, JosephPrinceResources (22 Media Pte Ltd) has sent a request for some of the messages that were copyrighted to be removed from the site. Although I respect their legal rights and will remove any messages that violate their copyrights, I also feel that more people without access to these messages should also get a chance to be blessed by them.

Therefore, I’m currently seeking permission from the people in charge to legally post more of Pastor Prince’s messages online.

Please help by referring more people who might benefit from the messages to the site: abundant-grace.weebly.com/messages.html

The greater the number of people benefitting from them, the higher the chance of receiving the publishing rights.

Anyway, I believe that the messages are not just meant for the rich who can afford them, but even more so for those that either can’t afford, or do not have access to them. I also believe it will so greatly bless them to such a degree [according to God's riches in heaven, how great is that? ;) ], that they will then have the ability to bless others as well, inculding Pastor Prince’s Ministries.

Just my 2-cents worth of opinion though.

May all be greatly blessed by our infinitely loving God. =)

Pastor Prince makes SO SO MUCH MONEY…GIVE IT A BREAK… HE NEEDS TO GIVE AND NOT COVET SO MUCH.. TRULY!!

  26. Pastor Joseph Prince speaks so much about the Laws of the Old Testament. I wish that when it comes to Copyrights Law, whomever that it may concern would may be gracious enough to waive it and let Pastor JP’s sermons be freely available and be posted on the internet so that bros- and sis-in-Christ(we are one family with the same Abba??) could be blessed. Non-believers might also listen and be led into the Kindom Of God. Freely you have received, freely give. Anyway NCC is so rich that money lost due to violation of the copyright is just like a very light strand of fur from a herd of 9 cows. Or is it that the world system kicks in : no money no talk??!! Or walk the talk??!!

  27. Or cash is king, money is god??!!

  28. Let us also not forget our brethrens being persecuted and are suffering for Christ’s sake, for example, Christians in the Indian state of Orissa. Pray for them.

  29. Put it this way, if u are truly hungry, God will find a way to get the message to you, Copyright or not. We should focus on the message, understand it, internalise it, make it a part of our consciousness while it is available and not if PP should make the broadcast free or not.

Self righteousness is expecting others to conform to your action because YOU think that YOUR way is the right way to do and obviously God dont think so becos the PP minsitry is blessed, with or without your consent or copyright.

Mat 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.

Just be more active and do a search on the net and u will find his sermon all over, even bittorrent. No one in this day and age can complain that they dont have access to the message.

Btw, the New testament believer dont even have the bible, Jesus only preach the word to them using the OT text. It is not what we need more now, its what revelation we have from what we know, not head knowledge.

  30. Of course anyone can always have his freedom of choice to do what he think is right concerning his own copyrights. What is being posted is just opinions and views and not being self righteous, but maybe a bit hungry or thirsty spiritually All said and done, we have no power to force or co-erce. No pointing of pistol or a dagger like in a robbery. Maybe I am poor, hungry and thirsty and I may stretch out my hand to beg from someone like Bill Gate or Li Ka-shing; they have a right to spare me a dime, a thousand bucks or simply tell me to get lost.

  31. Posted by getreal on March 5, 2009 at 12:44 pm

the world has no answer to poverty and corruption at the moment. if his grace message works, perhaps world leaders should listen to him?

i tend to believe the secret of feeding the hungry lies in his pocket, not in his fallacious words.

consider the below for a moment.

what would you think is the best solution for the dying poor?

1)have the people who are dying of hunger and from corrupt government etc listen to him preach

    2) give to the poor from his fat account

like the rich man in the bible, i assure you, he can’t give away his wealth to the dying because, he will have nothing left for himself.

he is used to the rich life to save another and that is enough prove his teachings have no substance( grossly deviated from christ’s original teachings) except to tickle ears and fatten his coffers.

This is beyond positive thinking. This is incredulous thinking.

  33. Posted by Png on March 10, 2009 at 5:42 am

I love listening to Pastor Prince’s sermons: it helps me to love God more. I had also listened to a series of sermons based on “Cat and Dog” Theology. A facet of this theology: 1. In Exodus, we read about Moses and triumphant coming out of Eygpt. How about the generations of Jews enslaved for 400 years before that? God allowed that and therefore not always prosperity. 2. Job’s children died young and also God permitted that. Therefore not always healthy and well. The emphasis of this Cat and Dog Theology is that God’s glory(and not our own prosperity/wealth and health) should be the utmost purpose in the whole universe and throughout eternity. Interesting to see such drastic different perspective in sermons preached by different preachers? My own personal take is BALANCE. I believe it is OK to enjoy blessings, prosperity and wealth and health if granted by God. But if setbacks and disappointments come into life, I am worried that faith in God would be shaken if based entirely on such sermons as those of Joseph Prince’s; would we then behave like Job’s wife and say “…Curse God and die!” Remember: There is time for everything (Ecclesiastes, Chapter 3)

  34. Posted by Png on March 10, 2009 at 5:55 am

Google “Cat and Dog Theology” and you can read more on it.

  35. Interesting post on the “Cat and Dog Theology”.

It does make sense to a certain extent.

However, I believe it is not a case of “one or the other”. God’s glory is definitely the most important, but I also think that God is more glorified when we are well and blessed as compared to when we are ill and poor.

For example, whenever Jesus works a miracle, either the healing of a person, raising of dead, or creation of abundance (water to wine, boat-sinking load of fishes etc.), God is always glorified, and people get to see the true will of God. This in turn, always brings even more people to Christ. In fact, Jesus Himself said that the Healing of a person brings glory to God (when He healed a blind man).

As for the story of Job, I believe that it is very important to see the often overlooked ending as well – he remained faithful in the goodness of God, and received twice of what he had before.

Often, when people meet obstacles, they just give up and blame it as “the will of God”, when in fact it is the devil that curses (e.g. in the story of Job, it is the devil causing all the trouble, but his friends and family keep asking him to curse God for it).

The truth is that the will of God is to bless us, and bring us to higher grounds. And it is even more important to focus on the goodness and true will of God when things are not going well, so that we can have the strength to continue forward, and bring the blessings and will of God to manifest in our lives.

  36. Of course we should not just focus on ourselves, or it would just be greed and not true prosperity.
I’ve found that it is truly important to give, but that it is also impossible to out-give God.

I personally think the problem with the ‘rich man’ in the Bible is that he trusted in himself (his righteousness, morality, riches ect.) instead of trusting God. That is why he did not do as Jesus said. Unlike Abraham, who trusted God so much that he gave up His son, knowing that God will not only spare his son, but give him uncountable descendants.

If we look closely at the Bible stories, it’s not difficult to find out that everyone who gave anything to God ALWAYS receives MANY times more than what they gave (e.g. the widow with the oil, the boy with the loaves and fishes etc.).

Therefore, I personally believe that if the ‘rich man’ trusted Jesus and did as He said, not only would he be saved, but would receive many times more than what he gave (which will allow him to give even more, and then receive even more, and so the cycle continues).

But of course, we should be giving with the right intentions, not just to profit from it (God knows our heart).

    What do you guys think?

And btw, sorry for the long post, kinda got carried away ;P

Hi Png, I’m sure you make perfect sense in your experience in this world. Joseph Prince also preached strongly against “balance” or what he calls “mixture” in his series. I advice, if you want, to get his series of Grace and Favor Seminar in Hillsong Australia. I have been following that on tv and it really brought me to the beginning of the grace of god.

  38. Posted by Andrea on March 10, 2009 at 10:24 am

I always like this quote from Joseph Prince, “God did not promise we won’t meet obstacles in this cursed world, but God did promise life and health for those who come to Him.”

  39. Posted by Andrea on March 10, 2009 at 10:32 am

Mesmer Smith, I have never seen it that way, but I’m glad you did, as a personal revelation. This reminds me of a sermon, “Give to God the natural and He will make it Supernatural.”

  40. Posted by Png on March 10, 2009 at 10:41 am

Hi, Andrea and Mesmer Smith, thank you for your responses to my posting. They make enjoyable reading; it is a case of iron sharpens iron. Thank Goodness that both of you are not like those who curse other people to hell if they hold different views from theirs; I am sure you came across postings or blogs that curse even Pastor Prince to hell. Such cursing is abolutely repulsive to me.

  41. Posted by Andrea on March 10, 2009 at 12:20 pm

Hi Png, I know exactly what you are talking about. I’ve seen name-calling in other posts. The original author replied, “You should see your brother/sister who is not as encouraged in the Lord as a weak brother/sister and have compassion.” You will also notice that some posts here who are against the goodness of our Lord are usually bitter and angry. For these people, I can only lay them upon Jesus to show how much they are forgiven. Because “much he is forgiven, much he will love the Lord.”

  42. I agree with both of you. The cursing and condemning I’ve seen in other posts really reflect badly on the God that we serve.

Jesus Himself came not to condemn but to save and redeem us. Which makes me wonder why so many of His followers are so ready to condemn others to hell, and even call them to be of the devil, and yet at the same time, are so resistant in beliving the kindness of our loving God – just like the Pharisees, Sadducees, and Scribes of Jesus’ time, who were always out to go against Him and even wanted to kill Him even though all He did was go about doing good.

But on the bright side of things, even Paul, a fanatic Christian-killer can have such a drastic change when God reaches out to him. Therefore, I believe the Goodness of God and the Grace of Jesus will be able to touch our brothers and sisters in Christ, and allow them to truly see the loveliness of our Lord.

it is easy to justify anything under the sun even murder( watchman twisted philosophy at the end of the movie).

and we assume god to be an idiot that he doesn’t finally look at the …. money trail.

“You will also notice that some posts here who are against the goodness of our Lord are usually bitter and angry. For these people, I can only lay them upon Jesus to show how much they are forgiven. Because “much he is forgiven, much he will love the Lord.”

That’s a veiled personal attack make to appear pious and in “good christian taste” (sounds as hypocritical whether you say it in “love” or you say it out of “bitterness”).

In the internet, since there is no way of verifying each statement, the rational individual will just brush it off. “Flaming” or”framing” people whom you disagree with religious language of “love” is very common.

But whatever form of personal attacks you choose to use, you lose credibility immediate.

Best is to focus on the main issue which is, either the person in question is heretic, or he is not. And before you defend this individual, read up on ALL his associates in the money making industry otherwise, you will wonder why people are so “bitter” or calling you names like ” what an idiot”.

So go ahead, you can love Benny Hinn or you can call him a divine liar. Now if Benny Hinn has an issue with being called a God Liar, let Benny Hinn take on ALL his critics in the internet… PERSONALLY. We certainly don’t need some boot lickers to fight his case or lies, now do we?

Lastly, Benny Hinn is the STAR, not you. Let’s see how godly he is handling critics.

can’t take the heat or truth the RELIGIOUS SPIRIT starts to censor?

how typical of cowards who live in the dark :)

  47. It seems there is always a debate on whether God wants His children to be prosperous or poor.

Personally, I believe the latter does not make sense at all. I certainly wouldn’t want my children to have to live in poverty. On the other hand, I would also not want them to be greedy people.

Therefore, I believe the real problem is in greed, or the love of Money. I believe prosperity in itself is good, but the Devil has deceived many that it is bad by confusing it with greed.

The truth is, there are many rich people who are generous, and many poor ones who are greedy.

I enjoy Pastor Prince’s sermons on the Grace of God. I do wish also that what he preaches on health, wealth and prosperity can also be realised in my personal life. Pastor Prince’s sermons(as what I could gather from the internet) remind me of recruitment advertisements by the Singapore Armed Forces. It projects a career which command respects, with a lot of glamour, military honours and so on. The advertisments may be true but yet incomplete. It neglects to tell of the sweat and toil, the cursing and swearing that are common in military life. When the need arises, limbs might be blown off and your life is demanded of you in obeying mnilitary orders. Very often we hear mostly on things sweet and nice in Joseph Prince’s sermons. Imagne an idealistic and naive young man joing the army based on the impression given by the recruitment advertisment, without the correct perspective of true military life? Let not forget in Christian living we are in a war with the spiritual enemy. Christian growth in China is seeded with the blood of many Christian martyrs. Heard of Wang Mingtao and Watchman Nee? Heard of Richard Wumbrand and JIm Elliot? One can see that Pastor Price’s style of sermons sit well in big prosperous cities like Singapore. Wonder how will he preach in remote and unreached(with the gospel) corners of the earth?

  49. Hi Png,

Once again, an interesting comment. Especially the comparing of military Life with Christian Life. Indeed, we Believers are fighting a Spiritual warfare with the devil. But one important difference to note is that while armies fight FOR victory, we in Christ are fighting FROM victory. Through the work of Jesus, we have already won!

Although there is no denying that there are still many people suffering around the world, what we CAN be sure of, is that it is NOT God’s will for them to suffer. Which is why we pray for God’s will to be fulfilled on Earth as it is in Heaven. (What is Heaven like? I believe that is what God intends for Earth to be like too.)

As for those who passed on, they are actually in a better place than us, with streets of gold, and more importantly, in the completely unveiled presence of God. Which is why we Christians are SO Blessed. When we are alive, we are blessed to be a blessing to others. And when we pass on, we are brought to Heaven to be with Jesus. Either way, we WIN!

This is why it is so important to bring the Gospel to those that do not yet know Jesus, so that they too can have victory over the devil, and know the True Abundant Life that is in Jesus! =)

Hello MesmerSmith: Thank you for your response. I am indeed blessed by Pastor Prince’s sermons on Grace of God. In fact, how I wish I had these messages more than 30 years go when I was converted to Christianity. We have also read several Christians’postings having this wish of the message of Grace of God made clear to them years ago. While we also hear messages of blessings of health, wealth and prosperity, there is no denying that many Christians had suffered and are still suffering for the their faith in the LORD. Recently, there was reports of Christian women being gang raped and their husbands buried alive in the Indian state of Orissa. Shops run by Christians were burnt down and destroyed. 2 Tim 3:1: But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. Jesus told us to take up our own cross.
When one part of the body suffers, other parts are supposed to feel the pain too.

  51. Indeed, we are deeply grieved by the terrible things that happen to Christians and Non-Christians alike around the world. And yes, many Christians have suffered because of their faith. Jesus Himself told us that we will face persecutions because of Him.

Therefore, I totally agree with you that there are terrible times ahead. All the more why we should put on our Spiritual Armor (Ephesians 6:11-12) and stand steadfast in the Goodness of God.

And most importantly, we must remember that God has promised to never leave us or forsake us. That He is always with us no matter what happens.

I will greatly rejoice(and shout “Hallelujah, Praise the LORD!) if the day comes where I could read or hear reports that pastors or preachers like Pastor Prince with their church having great resources flew to Orissa to preach so as to minister, to encourage and to help Christian brothers and sisters there.

  53. I share your sentiments and am filled with Joy whenever I hear stories of revival in places of exceptional need.

I do not know for sure whether Pastor Prince has personally preached in places like Orissa or other states of India, but according to what he said in some of his sermons, his church does spend alot of resources in aiding those in need.

There are also others like Reinhard Bonnke, and Compassion International who go through great lengths to bring revival to other desolute places like some areas in Africa and other parts of Asia.

Yes, there are still alot of injustice around the world, but I believe God is also doing great things through His children all over the world. It is not my place to say what these people of Great resources should or should not do though, I believe God will guide them to the places that can benefit most from them.

Furthermore, I also believe it is more important to look at what we ourselves are doing with what we have, then to focus on what others do with their resources. It is theirs anyway, and we have no control over what they do with it.

Even though some of us may not have as much resources as these organizations, but according to the parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30), it is just as important, if not more important, what we do with whatever resources we have, as compared to what others are doing with theirs.

I hope this isn’t gonna sound like an advertisement, but this is one of the reasons why I’ve decided to start the charity website; so that everyone can do their part for those in neeed. Sure it might not seem like alot as compared to the great need out there, but I believe God has the ability to make use of whatever little we give to Him, and make a big difference with it.

Even then, I still think it would be blessing for those in less fortunate areas to hear Pastor Prince preach. But then again, it is Jesus that they really need, irregardless of who brings the Gospel to them.

Once again, I apologise for writing much more than I intended, but it is always a pleasure chatting with another brother in Christ.

    Be Blessed. =)

Hello MesmerSmith Thank you for your postings which is very informative. Praise the LORD for those great Christians and organisations that you have mentined. I also know of this organisation “Open Door” found by Brother Andrew which ministers to the persecuted Church. Blessed are those persecuted for His Name’sake. We may not have this priviledge of such blessedness as we enjoy freedom of worship and to practise our faith openly in places like Singapore. Then let’s say “Amen” to Pastor Prince’s sermons that we be blessed financially and materially so that we may be channel of such blessings to our Christian brethrens who are in need all over the world. Would be to the LORD that what we could offer be as the 5 loaves and 2 fish that fed the multitude in the world of needs.

  55. Indeed, our hope is that we can be just like the basket of loaves and fishes, a never ending source of help for those in need, until all have had their fill. I’m sure God will Bless you Greatly for your heart of compassion, as well as your willingness to help others :)

  56. Where does the scriptures say the goodness of the Lord leads to repentance? 2 Cor 10 says “For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted: but the sorrow of the world produces death.

  57. Hi Peter,

Romans 2:4 reads, “Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?”.

The Goodness of God is like a bright light that exposes all our weaknesses and imperfections. It is His Goodness that makes the righteousness of even the most upright man around us look like filthy rags. Yet, even with our glaring imperfections, God loved us, and sent His Son to die for us. It is this revelation of God’s deep love for us that produces the godly sorrow within us.

I believe the verse you were quoting is actulally 2 Cor 7:10, as opposed to 2 Cor 10. And as written in the verse, this kind of godly sorrow causes us to repent and accept the sacrifice of Christ, thereby leading to Salvation, and is different from the sorrow of the world, caused by condemnation, indulgence in sin, hardness of heart etc. which leads to death.

2 Cor 8 also goes on to state the importance Grace and the Work our Lord Jesus has done for us.

    I hope this helps. =)

And as Paul ended 2 Corinthians,

“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you. Amen.”
