Ok my phone is activated now, and i can be reached by mobile from Skype. They’ll charge me skype credits and probably just local rates on AT&T (one of the largest service provider, like Singtel) but its better than calling internationally from SG, because it is 89 cents per minute for me.
If you’re calling from home to my home, pls call my home number, using your International Calling Card. I won’t be charged anything for home calls. (very advisable for long chats at both’s convenience but not free for you)
If you’re calling from home to my mobile, pls just leave me a msg so that i can call you back. (for emergency)
If you’re calling from computer to my mobile, use skype even if i am not online, and it’ll link you straight to my mobile. (2nd cheapest to computer-to-computer)
If you’re calling from computer to my home, this is not an option because I don’t know how. If I am home, I am most probably online as well.
Text is 5 US cents for international incoming for me and 15 SG cents for you. Me sending you an international text costs 20 US cents.
Another thing to note: me calling you for a longer time will cost me lesser than me calling you a lot of times, because there is a connection fee.
